He called out the supporters after the match and accused them of living in the Dark Ages, but the fans hit back at Clarke on Sunday.A banner stating ‘Get well soon Steve Clarke’ was unveiled by some visiting fans at the Hope CBD Stadium before the Gers thrashed Hamilton 5-0.And ahead of the Killie’s Premiership clash with Motherwell on Wednesday night, Clarke said: “I appreciate their concern.“But it’s not me that’s sick. I’m not sick.” Kris Boyd, the former Rangers striker who now represents Clarke’s side, was subjected to sectarian abuse while playing against Celtic days before Clarke was targeted by Rangers’ supporters, while a coin was also thrown at the forward in the same match.Steven Gerrard, the Rangers manager, spoke after Sunday’s defeat of Hamilton and called for abuse to be kicked out the game.He said: “For me, at the risk of repeating myself, we don’t want to hear that or see anything.“I was quite clear in my press conference last week.
