With Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud failing to impress, new Stamford Bridge chief Sarri is keen to dip into the transfer market this month and bolster his options.January is always a tough time to add star names, especially in attack, but the Blues need for goals could see them move to secure another big deal fresh from their 58million capture of Christian Pulisic, which will see him join in the summer after a spell back with Borussia Dortmund on loan. But who could head to the Bridge next? Here are talkSPORTs five most likely deals.

Gonzalo Higuain (AC Milan) – 8 goals this season

Seemingly an ever-present name in the transfer window, Higuain is once again being touted with a potential move to England.6The AC Milan star has been on several Premier League clubs’ radars in the past with Arsenal close to signing him in recent years. The 31-year-old Argentine has eluded his English suitors to date but now Chelsea are sniffing around.Higuain, who worked with Sarri at Napoli, is currently on a season-long loan deal at Milan from Juventus and the Rossoneri have the option to buy him permanently in the summer. He has scored eight goals in 20 Milan appearances this season and a big cash offer from Chelsea could tempt Juve into selling elsewhere.

Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan) 13 goals

Another name long-linked with a move to England is fellow Argentina forward Icardi. The former Manchester United target has been in fine form this season for Inter Milan, directly contributing to 15 goals.6A divisive player with an equally divisive agent could mean a January swoop may prove tricky for Chelsea, especially with Real Madrid looking at a summer swoop for him as well. But the 25-year-old Inter captain has been prolific in recent seasons and the Blues may be tempted to test the waters over a big-money deal.

Callum Wilson (Bournemouth) – 10 goals

Wilson has been one of the Premier Leagues big surprises this season, leading Bournemouth from the front with a shed load of goals.Hes already notched his highest ever Premier League tally for a single campaign and his exploits havent gone unnoticed.6Chelsea assistant Gianfranco Zola recently confirmed the clubs interest in the England international and Wilson would likely jump at the chance to play at a higher level.Still 26, Wilson may not yet to reach his peak and a 30million price tag is appealing.Chelsea, however, may have concerns over if hed be able to continue his recent purple-patch at Stamford Bridge.

Krzysztof Piatek (Genoa) 19 goals

Piatek has been a revelation this term since joining Genoa from Polish outfit Cracovia over the summer for just 3.5million.The Poland international has scored a stunning 19 goals in just 21 appearances for his new club, leading to speculation he could be set for an abrupt exit.6Chelsea are among several sides understood to be looking at the impressive 23-year-old with a fee upwards of 55million being mooted.Genoa president Enrico Preziosi recently insisted that Piatek wont be going anywhere this winter but the chance to secure such a huge profit could prove too hard to turn down.

Recall a striker

Like most seasons, Chelsea have a host of talent currently plying their trades elsewhere and Sarri could opt to bring one back.Tammy Abraham has been in fine fettle at Aston Villa during the first half of his season-long spell, netting 16 goals in the Championship.6He has been heavily linked with an 18million move to Wolves this winter but Chelsea may look to keep him in west London for the remainder of the campaign instead.Michy Batshuayi, the 33million signing from Marseille in 2016, is another option but he has been underwhelmed during his stint with Valencia so far this term, scoring just one LaLiga goal in four starts and 10 substitute appearances.
