Paul Hurst has been named as Scunthorpe United’s new manager.The 44-year-old was sacked by Ipswich in October after just five months in charge and has been out of work since.

He had previously taken Grimsby back into the Football League.Chris Doig has also been named as Hurst’s assistant.
