Aaron Ramsey: Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici confirms interest in Arsenal midfielder
Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed the Serie A club are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.The Welshman is out of contract at the end of the season and Arsenal have no plans to offer him a new deal.This has put a number of top European clubs on red alert as they are now allowed to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with the midfielder.3

Ramsey is free to leave Arsenal in the summer

Both Bayern Munich and Juventus are battling for his signature and are reportedly willing tooffer him 9m-a-year for his services.European champions Real Madrid are also believed to be keen on the playmaker,but it is understood the Old Lady is the player’s preferred destination.Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed the club’s interest in Ramsey.Speaking to Sky in Italy, Paratici said: “Ramsey is a very good player who has been playing at a high level for many years and who plays for an important club. For now, that’s it.“He is a player whose contract is going to end and we always pay great attention to the situations offered by the transfer market because it is our duty, so we also pay attention to Ramsey.When asked whether Juve will be the Welshman’s next club, Paratici said: “This is yet to be decided. Now, he is still an Arsenal player and we certainly are not the only ones who pay attention to transfers. This is already a very complete answer.”3

Ramsey has spent over a decade with the north London club

Meanwhile, Juve club legend Andrea Pirlo believes Ramsey would be a great acquisition for the Italian champions.He said:Ramsey is a great purchase. Juventusare preparing another excellent deal. He is a strong player and could do very well.Ramsey has been a loyal servant to the Gunners – he has played 252 Premier League games for the north London outfit and scored 38 goals in that time.But he has fallen out of favour with new Emirates boss Unai Emery and has been given the green light to find a new club by the Emirates hierarchy.3
