However, the former United striker went one step further after the 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City at Old Trafford after the last home game of the season.According to The Sun, the ‘Baby Faced Assassin’ was so incensed after the defeat, he told some of his players he planned to sell them to fund a massive summer rebuild.The 46-year-old initially enjoyed a sensational start to life in the dugout at Old Trafford, but chasms began to form and widen at an alarming rate as the season began to unravel and sixth place was confirmed.Asked what Solskjaer believed was to blame for United’s woeful end to the season, he said: “We just need to get that consistency at home, being able to win games and dominating more games.
