Tammy Abraham grabbed four goals for Aston Villa in a dramatic 5-5 draw against 10-man Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.Forest, though, deserved a point from the ten-goal thriller to take them into the top six after a spectacular display of attacking football.3

To their credit Forest were always on the front foot and set the tone of the game with goals from Lewis Grabban and Jose Carvalho in the opening six minutes.Villa were equally emphatic with Abraham scoring twice in three minutes to level the scoreline after only 14 minutes.With both defences caught napping, Matt Cash regained a 22nd-minute lead for Forest only for Abraham to slot away a 36th-minute penalty to complete his hat-trick.3

Elsewhere in the Championship,West Brom moved up to fourth after coming from behind to defeat Swansea 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium.Oliver McBurnie gave the hosts a 10th-minute lead but that was almost immediately cancelled out by Craig Dawson before fellow defender Ahmed Hegazi scored what would prove to be the winner on the stroke of half-time.Tom Ince returned to haunt Derby as Gary Rowett’s Stoke secured a 2-1 win despite the first-half dismissal of Peter Etebo in an ill-tempered fixture.Sam Clucas put the Potters ahead in the 24th minute but Etebo was given his marching orders just after the half hour for a high challenge on Richard Keogh, with Derby levelling shortly after half-time through Harry Wilson’s fine free-kick. But Ince turned home Clucas’ low cross in the 64th minute to give Stoke all three points.3

Ryan Leonard saw red in the first half for the Lions.Wigan picked up a first league win in 10 attempts with a deserved 3-1 Lancashire derby victory over Blackburn at the DW Stadium.Gary Roberts curled home the opener shortly before half-time and James Vaughan converted a second-half penalty and although Dan Burn’s own goal gave Rovers hope, Callum McManaman restored the Latics’ two-goal advantage.
