Mourinho has been coming under criticism from all corners this season

That campaign was the last time a Mourinho team seriously looked like winning England’s top flight title, with the following term (2015/16) that most famous of collapses which resulted in Mourinho’s sacking.Now into his third season as Manchester United manager, Mourinho appears further away than ever from claiming the Premier League crown.Saturday’s 0-0 home draw with Crystal Palace left the Red Devils 14 points off top spot after 13 matches, while the gap between United and the top four is already seven points. Criticism for United’s struggles this term has been aimed at Mourinho, the board and the players, with no one entirely sure just what is behind the club’s woeful campaign.But Ivanovic believes he does know, telling Ria Novosti that Manchester United’s players are entirely to blame.“Lots of players who worked with Mourinho will never say anything bad about him,” Ivanovic said.“He is almost impossible to criticise. He knows what he is doing and does it perfectly.2

“I know its difficult what he is experiencing at Manchester United, but I think he will cope. No one is satisfied with this situation.In my opinion, I think it is all down to the players.“At Manchester United, they have many inexperienced players playing in key positions, so it doesnt work for them at the moment.”
